With a student body of approximately 40 bochurim and multiple shiurim, Shaare Chaim maintains a close relationship with each talmid.  By understanding the needs of each individual, the learning program is tailor made for each bochur.  The primary goal is for the talmidim to develop a strong love for learning, which they will carry throughout their lives.

The uniqueness of the Yeshiva’s environment is the warm relationship which develops between the Rebbe and each of his talmidim.  The Rebbeim are inspiring role-models, and are dedicated to the talmidim both inside and outside the Beis Medrash.

By providing a unique blend of Torah learning together with the warmth of a low Rebbe-Talmid ratio, a sense of understanding and openness between Rebbeim and talmidim is achieved. This creates an exceptional atmosphere of achdus, trust, and encouragement.

Enhancing all this are the special Shabbosim the Yeshiva spends together at various locations throughout Eretz Yisroel. The Yeshiva also organizes Bein Haz'manim trips, along with a summer program, to ensure that each bochur's stay is varied and fulfilling.

Located in Yerushalayim, Shaare Chaim provides an excellent opportunity to enhance your growth in hasmada and midos. The exceptional ruach of Eretz Yisroel gives a bochur the special motivation that can have a lasting effect on his development in ruchnius.

The learning in the Yeshiva is solid and comprehensive. It concentrates on gemora and m’forshim, as well as halacha and mussar. Emphasis is also placed on character and personality improvement, the keys to fostering a true Ben Torah.

The shiurim in Iyun concentrate on teaching the skills of acquiring a clear and lucid understanding of the sugya through the perspective of the Rishonim and Acharonim.

The B'kiyus seder, which focuses on a different Masechta, allows the talmid to acquire a broader knowledge of Shas not usually covered by Iyun. Talmidim are encouraged to finish masechtos and make siyumim.
